Christ Jesus Came into the world to save sinners

- The Bible

Below are a few passages from the Bible that explain some of the key concepts of the gospel – that is, of the good news of how we can be made right with God.  Please think them over carefully, and contact us if you have any questions.

  • Young People’s Choir Group

Why do we love to sing? We have something to sing about! Our God is a great God and Savior.

  • Mark 8:36

Do you think about spiritual things often? What about your soul – the real you, that will exist for eternity, long after your body has died? It pays to get right with God now; there isn’t anything you own now that will go with you when you die. . .

  • Sunday School Christmas Program

Each Christmas the Sunday School children put on a Christmas program telling the story of how Christ Jesus came into the world as baby in order to one day be our Savior. It’s a happy time!

  • Acts 16:31

When a jailer from the city of Philippi asked the apostle Paul, “What must I do to be saved?” this was the reply, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ”.  You can read the story for yourself in the Bible in Acts chapter 16.  Notice that salvation from sin is not accomplished by good works, but rather by entrusting oneself to Jesus Christ.

  • Joy

What brings the most joy into your life? We hope it’s something that can never be taken away. The Lord Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full”. Do you have that life?

  • Romans 3:23

Did you ever regret doing something you shouldn’t have done? Or regret that you didn’t do something you knew you should have? Most likely! We find it difficult to live up to the standards we set for ourselves, so it shouldn’t take us by surprise that God says we don’t live up to His standards!

  • Romans 6:23

Wages: What a person deserves for what they’ve done. So, we deserve death for our rebellion against God, but He offers eternal life through Jesus Christ. At no cost to ourselves. Would you want that for yourself?

  • Prayer Meeting

Prayer times are very important – each Wednesday evening we gather to pray. It’s a privileges to bring our requests and thanksgiving to the Sovereign of the universe.
