Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such at these.

Enoch’s Summer Camp / VBS 2025

We are planning our Vacation Bible School, better known as Enoch’s Summer Camp for July 28th through August 1 – that’s Monday through Friday, 6:30 to 8:30pm. The activities are geared for children ages 5 through 12, and we take this opportunity to welcome all the neighborhood children to come on out and enjoy the week!

Registration is open now; you may also register in person at VBS if you prefer.

Again this year we are hosting a Family Fun Fair just prior to Enoch’s Summer Camp on Saturday, July 26th from 4:30 to 7:30pm. This event is for the whole family – come hungry, and plan to spend a little time visiting while the children play in the bouncy house or engage with other activities. This is a good opportunity for you to meet some of the leaders of the Summer Camp week and ask any questions you might have.

What exactly is Enoch’s Summer Camp? It’s a special opportunity for the children who participate in our weekly Enoch’s Club, as well as others from the neighborhood to have a little extra summer fun! Each evening there’s a game time, singing, a Bible lesson, a memory verse from the Bible, a craft project, and a tasty snack. We hope that your children go away not only having had a good time, but also having learned something from the Bible that will help them in years to come. Here’s a three-minute slideshow that will give you an idea what your children can expect:

In a world with too much screen time, and news full of tragedy and violence, we hope to enrich the lives of children with wholesome fun, and to prepare them for a better kind of life – life “more abundant” – the kind of life that the Lord Jesus came give. We do this by teaching children about their Creator, about the Lord Jesus Christ, and about the gospel, because only God can bring about the kind of transformation that our world needs.

This year’s theme is “One Way” because in a world where we’re used to having everything our way, it’s important to remember that some questions have only one right answer! “What kind of cereal would you like?” is a very different question from, “What should you do when your house is on fire?”! In the Bible we learn that God is for us, and the devil, or Satan, is against us, and there’s only one way of safety and blessing, and it’s God’s way. There’s only one way to be right with God, and it’s through the only Savior the world has ever known, the Lord Jesus Christ – the only one who ever died for my sin and yours and was resurrected, and is alive forever!

Heading up the Bible lessons will be “Uncle Tim” Donahue – a follower of Jesus Christ for many years, and a man whose love for the Lord is shown in his heart for children.

If you have any questions, or need help with rides for your children, please let us know!
